I’m not an Eminem fan, but his new “Mosh” video/animation has a message I definitely agree with. T-minus 5 days til the end of the world.

Congratulations to the Red Sox for ending 86 years of incompetence by defeating the St. Louis Cardinals and the Satan’s own baseball team, the Yankees. Now that you’ve won the World Series, you can go celebrate at Euro Disney while George Steinbrenner signs away Pedro Martinez, Derek Lowe and the rest of your team. Enjoy it while you can, you might not have another championship until 2090!

Skagen WatchThanks to Spam Assassin, almost every spam I get is nicely marked and ready to delete. Every once in a while I scan through all the email that gets marked as spam to make sure there isn’t anything important in there. While I was going through all of the junk (400 messages), i noticed something strange, there were tons messages trying to sell Rolexes. I don’t know how or why they thought I’d be a great target to send 80 messages to get me to buy a watch. Somehow my email has turned into a New York City street corner trying to pawn off their shady goods. 20% of the trash I get in email is trying to sell me a thousand dollar watch. Sorry to spoil your marketing scheme, but I’ll be sticking with my Skagen, and if I ever decide to waste that much money on a watch, it’ll probably be a Movado.

Tonight we had our annual meeting for work at the Udvar Hazy National Air and Space Museum. After the presentation of our upcoming business plan, we had dinner and drinks around the SR-71, X-35 Joint Strike Fighter, and Space Shuttle Enterprise. This was my second time to the museum, but I got to see the space shuttle, which was under renovation the first time. Its definitely something to check out if you’re in the northern Virginia area.

Well, fall ball is over and our softball team finished off strong last night sweeping a doubleheader against the team we were tied with for second place. I did my part going 6 for 6 in the two games with 3 run homerun. We couldn’t quite catch the first place team, (we split 1 win-1 loss against them), but we finished in sole possession of second place with a 10 and 4 record. It was a fun season, and I met a bunch of cool people from work. I can’t wait for next season (or seasons if we get a guys team together along with the coed league)!
